Time to dust off old man winter and get ready for a new and exciting season of Bocce! Our first tournament of the year is where we invite new &amp; seasoned Villagers to play Bocce!<\/p>\n<p>March 30<sup>th<\/sup> \u2013 May 7<sup>th<\/sup>, Playoffs May 11<sup>th<\/sup> &amp; 12<sup>th<\/sup>, Championship May 13<sup>th<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>The goal of this tournament is to mix, advanced, intermediate and beginner players together on a team. To accomplish this the tournament committee has set up new parameters:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you are a captain, you may select one player to be on your team.<\/li>\n<li>Beginners will be spread out among the teams.<\/li>\n<li>All other players will be randomly selected by computer to a team at your selected time slot.\u00a0Once the computer assigns you to a captain, you cannot change teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Time Choices:<\/p>\n<p>Monday\u2019s:\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 10:00 AM, 12:30 PM, &amp; 3:00 PM.<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday\u2019s:\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a010:00 AM, 12:30 PM, &amp; 3:00 PM.<\/p>\n<p>Thursday\u2019s:\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 10:00 AM, 12:30 PM, &amp; 3:00 PM.<\/p>\n<p>To sign-up go to <a href=\"https:\/\/tinyurl.com\/2026-Spring-Mixer\">2026 Spring Mixer Signup<\/a>\u00a0(preferred) or sign up at the courts.<\/p>\n<p>We need captains for this tournament, if you are interested in being a captain, please add this information to your sign-up.<\/p>\n<p>This tournament follows our Bocce Boot Camps in January and March where brand new players learn the basics of Bocce and get ready for the 2026 tournament season.<\/p>\n<p>So, if you are new to playing bocce and are interested in playing the game, or have a neighbor who would like to play, have them sign up today!<\/p>\n<p>If you have any questions, contact:\u00a0Jeff Rose at 408-489-1968.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 2026 Bocce Season is here!
